- The K&R book is the book, so it is good you are getting that.
- But now for other books...
- Take a look at the O'Reilly Books they are great!
- When I was learning C I got the book "Practical C Programming."
- (Among others, but I though it was the best for learning.)
- If you are on a POSIX compliant system, "POSIX Programmers Guide"
- is well written as well. And if you have to do stuff for UNIX
- or it cousins then "Using C on the UNIX System" is a nice
- reference.

- If you are learning under DOS (poor you) then the books by SAMS
- are pretty good. (ie. "Teach youself xxxxxxxx in 21 days" )
- These are mostly good tutorials to get you up and running quickly.
